Our family-run hotel and apartment complex is situated in the wooded Hessian mountain range (Naturpark Knüll). Set in the beautiful and diverse nature of the end of 1960 years decommissioned and reclaimed lignite opencast mine to find us in the holiday village at Silbersee.

The approximately 8.2 hectare natural lake Silbersee is situated at 240m altitude on the northern edge of the Knüll mountain range and is comfortable reachable in about 3 minutes from our facility. The water of the Silbersee is monitored regularly and meets EU quality requirements for bathing water.

If you want peace and want to relax far away from stress and noise you are right in the pedestrianized Frielendorf. The hilly foothills of the Knüll mountain range is ideal for long walks. Enjoy the high air quality and the climate is mild in our state-recognized health resort.

A well-developed network of cycle paths invites you to numerous tours in our region. You can, for example, cycle in more leisurely tours to Schwalmstadt or Homberg / Efze. Or you climb the 633m high altitude Knüllköpfchen and enjoy the magnificent view.

The Erlebniswelt Silbersee offers numerous recreational opportunities and highlights. Make for example a rapid descent to the Silberseebob or enjoy the special atmosphere in the wellness paradise and relax in the bath or sauna. As our guests, you have daily (depending of the opening times) free entry in our children's paradise Frieloland.
